It is important to know that our company started way back in 1968, when Dimitrios-Sotirios Paparounis founded Hellas Transport D. Paparounis AE, the first Greek transport company with owned vehicles (TIR), creating a fleet of 120 trucks for the transport of dry cargo & perishable items / products.
In the 1970s – 1980s all large industrial and commercial units of the country, trusted our company and entrusted their cargoes (exports /imports) to and from Europe.
The second generation begins since 1990 with active involvement from both brothers, Spyros Paparounis & later also from Kostis Paparounis. Together with experience partners grow up the business. Since the year of 1997 was established the new department of Households (removals) and until today we have served over 7.000 families and companies, sending their household goods with security and always on time, within Attica, within Greece, but also from Greece around the world and vice versa, always using either our team or its correspondent / agents, who are members of the International Organization OMNI FIDI, which thus ensures us the quality of the services which is provided, in unpacking or packaging.
Additionally we have undertaken major business relocations, including over the top , the transfer of the century as it was called the moving of all equipments of the International Airport Olympic Aviation, from Helliniko city to Spata city in 2001, in less than 24 hours.
We moved and relocated successfully many of large Groups / very well known brand names, such as Intracom, Loreal, Star Channel, , MEGA Channel, Alpha Bank, Meditrust, AVRAMAR, Optoya, Bake Hellas, Barkingwell, Stirixis Group and many othes. We feel proud of our long-term partnership with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense, as we are on the list of the approved companies of the General Accounting Office of the State, and evryone diplomatic and military personnel, can choose us. In this list we remain until today!
